Welcome to the Beacon Drive-In, a famous Southern landmark since 1946! We're known for our Chili-Cheese A-Plenty, a chili-cheeseburger buried underneath piles of sweet onion rings and french-fried potatoes. Other favorites at the Beacon include our Sliced Pork A-Plenty, BBQ hash, and The Pig's Dinner, a loaded banana split. We're also home to the "World Famous" Beacon Iced Tea - "Southern Style": generously sweetened, with a splash of lemon, served in a cup packed with shaved ice. We sell more tea than any other single restaurant in the U.S.A.! The Beacon Drive-In is one of the few remaining legends that offer curb service. This is my first time checking out the beacon and it definitely hit the spot. I got the perch and hush puppies and it was delicious plenty of food and the staff was super friendly. As a little tree, I also tried a cookies and cream milkshake, which blew me away.

I've wanted to see The Beacon forever. I wasn't disappointed! Fried fish and the Mac and Cheese was smooth and so tasty and best hush puppies anywhere! Awesome friendly people behind the counter in this must-see, must-visit destination!

Friendly, welcoming fast service. Large portions, tasty fresh hot food. Pecan Pie and Cobbler was on point. Fried Squash, Hush Poppers, BBQ, EVERYTHING we had was yummy! Will be returning for sure, added to one of our favorite places.

Service was spectacular. Line of customers but had orders prepared very quickly. Enjoyed some nice comfort food. Burgers lived up to all I have been told. Peach cobbler, peacan pie, and macaroni and cheese all were that made from scratch homemade wonderfully delicious!

If you are in the mood for a quick burger and fries, the Beacon has been around longer than me. I had the Chili-Cheeseburger A-Plenty. Burger was great. Lots of fries and onion rings. All hot and fresh. Ready before you leave the counter. The employees were all nice. The tea is great also!

While working in the area as a contractor, I heard this was a must have. I chose a burger and fries. It was huge yet delicious! The restaurant was order and move type feel as you walked along a counter staying the order. It was a great landmark to visit.
